For larger multi-pump islands or high-visibility locations where brighter presentation is a competitive priority, 100W–150W fixtures deliver the high-output, high-CRI light that makes pumps and signage visible from the road. Always confirm the fixture’s photometric distribution matches the canopy bay spacing before specifying.

Yes — enclosed car wash tunnels and self-serve bays require fixtures specifically rated for wet locations (IP66 or IP67) due to direct water exposure from spray nozzles and misting systems. Many of our canopy lights are rated for wet locations and feature polycarbonate lenses resistant to chemical cleaners common in wash environments. For open-bay or touchless car washes with less direct water exposure, a standard IP65 canopy light is typically sufficient.

A vapor tight fixture is a fully sealed linear fixture designed for enclosed wet environments such as food processing facilities, car washes, and cold storage where condensation, steam, or chemical spray is constant. For standard commercial canopy applications, a canopy light is the correct specification.

Yes — low-profile surface-mount canopy lights are ideal for low-clearance parking structures where pendant or recessed fixtures are not practical. Their flat housing typically adds only 2–4 inches below the mounting surface, preserving maximum vertical clearance for vehicles.
