This is a great product. One of the best things about it is that all the settings are manual, physical switches or dials. Nothing electronic (many competing products make you count flashing lights and press a button different numbers of times, etc which is a big hassle, and also the electronically programmed ones can become corrupted by power surge or power outage. These more analog / manual controls are MUCH better for the college campus that I manage. Also much more simple to VERIFY the settings just by a quick look at the setting dials).

No, a neutral wire is not required for the Enerlites DWOS-J-W sensor switch. According to the manufacturer installation manual, the switch only connects to your Hot (black), Load (red), and Ground (green) wires. A secure ground connection is required for the switch to operate.
