Smart & Control Features

The included handheld transmitter operates the fan without Wi-Fi, with six speeds, reverse, and LED dimming. For summer, counter-clockwise rotation viewed from below pushes air down; for winter, clockwise rotation helps recirculate warm air. Construction and Design

Designed by Peter Bristol, Drape Smart has a uniquely soft, light silhouette. Three ultra-thin blades seem to drape around the ceiling while the LED pendant conceals the motor for a streamlined profile. The steel housing and ABS blades share a Matte White finish.

The fan includes an 18 in x 0.81 in downrod and supports sloped-ceiling installation up to 20 degrees. Overall height is 25.6 in, with blade-to-ceiling clearance ranging from 20 to 23.6 in. Maintain at least 7 ft from the floor to the lowest fan blade and allow 18–24 in clearance on all sides.

Suggested Downrod by Ceiling Height

Ships with an 18 in downrod. Ensure at least 7 ft of clearance between the floor and fan blades.

• 8 ft ceiling: Hugger/flush-mount fans are recommended.
• 8–10 ft ceilings: Close-to-ceiling installation uses a 4–8 in downrod, where the fan model supports it.
• 10 ft and higher: An extended downrod is recommended. Visual Comfort lists 12, 18, 24, 36, 48, 60, and 72 in lengths.
