The less than 1 in thin design allows installation directly under joists without a housing — ideal for new construction, remodel, and retrofit applications in bathrooms, kitchens, closets, attics, soffits, stairwells, and corridors. Features a 120° beam angle, uniform glare-free illumination, CRI >90, wet rated, fire rated per UL1598, and a remote driver for hardwire installation. 0-10V dimmable at 120-277V. The 1200 lumen recessed lights are brilliant. They are only 1/2-inch thick, so they fit in the drywall even if there is framing behind it. Only 1 out of 48 (2%) did not light up because of a failure in the AC-DC converter (junction box) supplied with the light; I was able to get that one replaced.
