Fit perfect into my Craftsman battery powered lamp. The lamp is about 20 years old and the original fluorescent bulb finally quit working. I was worried that I would struggle to find a replacement bulb, given the age. This fit right into the lamp with no issues and worked immediately.

Since it is a bypass fixture you have to be comfortable cutting some wires within the fixture, as well as having a jumper cable within the fixture. It's not too hard but I can understand some people being intimidated by this. The lamps work great once installed.
