The Sylvania Blazeguard is a flame-resistant slim microdisk LED canless downlight family from LEDVANCE Performance Class, available in 4 in (Sylvania 63426), 6 in (Sylvania 63427), and 8 in (Sylvania 63428). At just 1/2 in height, all models install directly under joists in new and remodel construction. Fire rated per UL263 (1100°C / 2 hours), IC rated, airtight per ASTM E283-2004, wet rated, and ENERGY STAR certified. Field-selectable CCT (2700K–5000K). Quick connectors included. 120V / Phase-Cut dimming. TAA compliant.

Light Output & Performance

The Blazeguard family delivers up to 92% energy savings vs incandescent. The 4 in model produces 800 lm at 10W (80 LPW), the 6 in produces 1,200 lm at 14W (86 LPW), and the 8 in produces 1,600 lm at 19W (84 LPW). All models feature CRI 92 and 50,000-hour L70 lifespan across all five CCT settings.

Electrical & Installation

All Blazeguard models operate at 120V with Phase-Cut dimming (PF >0.9, THD <20%). The 1/2 in ultra-thin profile installs directly under joists. Remote driver with quick connectors included. IC rated and airtight per ASTM E283-2004. Fire rated per UL263. FT6 listed cable.
