The Satco round goof ring for commercial downlights is a field-installable cover accessory designed to conceal oversized ceiling cutouts and damaged drywall edges left behind during installation or retrofit work. Available in 4", 6", and 8" sizes, it pairs directly with the Satco Performer Series commercial LED downlights for a clean, color-matched finish.
On any renovation or retrofit project, ceiling openings rarely come out perfect — existing holes may be too large, edges may be chipped, or prior fixtures may have left irregular cutouts. The goof ring solves this in seconds: it slips over the downlight and lays flat against the ceiling, hiding imperfections behind a matte white flange that blends seamlessly with the fixture trim. No patching, no repainting, no callbacks.
