The RAB SWISHFA is a field-adjustable center-basket LED troffer available in three sizes — 1x4 (SWISHFA1X4-D10), 2x2 (SWISHFA2X2-D10), and 2x4 (SWISHFA2X4-D10) — and in both Standard and Battery Backup (-E2) configurations. All models feature field-selectable wattage, selectable 3500K / 4000K / 5000K CCT, and 0-10V dimming on a universal 120-277V input. Output ranges up to 5,882 lumens with peak efficacy reaching 166.0 lm/W. All models are UL Listed and DLC 5.1 Qualified for utility rebate eligibility. Battery Backup models include an integrated 90-minute emergency system for NEC/IBC-compliant egress lighting.

All SWISHFA models deliver high-efficacy output through a frosted polystyrene lens for smooth, uniform, glare-free illumination. Peak efficacy reaches 166.0 lm/W (1x4 at 19W / 4000K) and maximum output reaches 5,882 lm (2x4 at 49W / 4000K). CRI ranges from 83 to 86 across all models. Rated life is 100,000 hours per IES LM-80 and -21 calculations.

90-Minute Battery Backup (-E2 Models)

Battery Backup models include a factory-integrated emergency battery that automatically activates during a power failure, operating the fixture for a minimum of 90 minutes to support safe building evacuation. A built-in test button and indicator light allow routine compliance testing without external equipment. These models comply with NEC and IBC emergency egress lighting requirements. An unswitched hot supply line must be connected to maintain battery charge.

Electrical & Controls

Each model is powered by a Class 2, Constant Current driver operating on 120-277V AC, 50/60Hz with integral surge protection (DM 2kV / CM 4kV). All configurations include 0-10V dimming leads (dims to 10%) for compatibility with daylight harvesting sensors and commercial energy management systems. Mercury-free, UV-free, RoHS compliant.

Construction

Sheet metal housing with white powder coat finish. Frosted polystyrene lens for smooth, uniform light distribution. Metal reflector with high-reflectance white finish. All models designed for drop-in installation into standard T-bar ceiling grids using integral bend-over mounting clips.

Installation & Mounting

All models install into standard T-bar ceiling grids using integral bend-over grid clips — no additional hardware required. Support wire holes provided for code-compliant ceiling anchoring. Battery Backup models require an unswitched hot supply line for proper battery charging. Optional surface and recessed mounting kits available separately for hard ceiling installations.
