The RAB Lighting SLIM17 is a slim, high-performance angle-adjustable LED wall pack engineered to deliver precise, adaptable perimeter illumination across commercial and industrial building exteriors. Available in 15W (1,904lm), 30W (3,813lm), 50W (7,477lm), and 80W (12,364lm) configurations, all models feature a field-adjustable head that tilts from 0° (full cutoff) to 90° in 15-degree increments — meeting dark sky requirements or functioning as a directional floodlight. Selectable 3000K/4000K/5000K CCT, an integrated button photocell, and a 0-10V dimming driver are standard across the entire family. DLC Premium Listed (15W and 30W) for utility rebate eligibility.

• 50W — 7,477 lumens (up to 159.8 LPW): High-output option for larger perimeters, parking structure walls, and loading docks. CRI 83-85.

CCT Options: All models offer 3000K (warm white), 4000K (neutral white — default), and 5000K (daylight) — selectable on-site via dipswitch.

Electrical & Controls

Each model is powered by a constant current Class 2 driver operating on 120-277V AC. All configurations include a 0-10V dimming interface (dims to 10%) and an integrated 120-277V button photocell for automated dusk-to-dawn energy management. Surge protection ranges from 2.5kV to 6kV depending on model, guarding internal components against power transients common on exterior circuits.

Construction & Durability

The precision die-cast aluminum housing is finished in a durable bronze powder coat and fitted with a clear polycarbonate lens. IP65 rated for complete protection against dust and water ingress in wet locations, and IK07 impact rated for resistance to physical strikes. The fixture operates reliably in extreme ambient temperatures from -40°F to 122°F (-40°C to 50°C).

Installation & Mounting

Designed for straightforward surface wall mounting, the SLIM17 backplate features hinged wiring access and conduit entries on the back, sides, top, and bottom to accommodate surface wiring or recessed junction box configurations. The integrated photocell and on-fixture CCT dipswitch eliminate the need for external sensors or additional wiring during commissioning. The adjustable head locks securely at any 15-degree increment.
