The RAB SEAL is a family of field-adjustable linear washdown vapor tight fixtures available in 2-foot, 4-foot, and 8-foot lengths, each with field-selectable wattage and CCT via onboard switches. Operating on 120–277V / 50–60Hz with 0–10V dimming to 10%, every SEAL fixture is UL Listed for Wet Locations, IP66 rated, NEMA 4X corrosion-resistant, and NSF Certified for food-safe environments. All sizes are DLC Listed, backed by a 5-year warranty, and rated for 100,000 hours. Battery backup (/E) variants are available for all three sizes for egress code compliance.

Key Features

• Selectable Wattage: Each size offers three field-adjustable wattage steps via onboard switch — no tools or rewiring required. SEAL2: 25/20/15W. SEAL4: 50/40/30W. SEAL8: 100/80/60W.
• Wattage Equivalency: Replaces legacy fluorescent vapor tight fixtures. SEAL2 (25W) replaces 2-lamp T8; SEAL4 (50W) replaces 2-lamp T8 or T5HO; SEAL8 (100W) replaces 4-lamp T8 or T5HO — at a fraction of the energy.

Smart & Control Features

All SEAL fixtures include built-in 0–10V dimming. Optional sensor and wireless control suffixes are available across all sizes:

• /PIR: Passive infrared occupancy sensor — max 40 ft. mounting height, 40 ft. detection diameter.
• /MVS: Microwave occupancy sensor — max 50 ft. mounting height, 50 ft. detection diameter.
• /LCBS: Lightcloud Blue PIR sensor — Bluetooth Mesh, programmable via mobile app, no hub required.

Housing & Thermal: Impact-resistant polycarbonate housing with stainless steel door clips and high-temperature silicone gaskets. 1/2″ NPS opening for conduit and bushing/cord entry. Note: polycarbonate is affected by cleaning agents or liquids containing partial solvents such as low molecular weight aldehydes, ethers, ketones, esters, aromatic hydrocarbons, and perchlorinated hydrocarbons.
