The RAB SWISHAIR2X4/MVS is a 2×4 recessed LED air-return troffer with a factory-installed microwave occupancy sensor, designed for commercial T-grid ceilings requiring integrated HVAC return-air functionality and occupancy-based energy control. Wattage is field-selectable between 44W (factory default), 35W, and 26W, and CCT is field-selectable between 3500K, 4000K (factory default), and 5000K — both via onboard switch, no tools required. At peak output, the fixture delivers 6,048 lumens at 44W / 4000K with a peak efficacy of 150.8 lm/W at 26W / 4000K. The SWISHAIR2X4/MVS operates on 120–277V with a 0–10V dimming driver and is UL Listed for dry and damp locations and DLC 5.1 Listed as Ultra-Efficient Premium. Replaces conventional fluorescent 2×4 troffer fixtures.

Smart & Control Features

The SWISHAIR2X4/MVS includes a factory-installed microwave occupancy sensor and supports 0–10V dimming. The MVS sensor emits high-frequency microwave signals to detect fine motion through minor obstructions such as partitions and bathroom stalls — ideal for subdivided spaces where PIR line-of-sight is limited. Sensor defaults: Motion Sensitivity High · 100% brightness when triggered · 20-min hold time · 20% standby dim · 1-min standby time · Daylight Disabled. Settings adjustable via MSR1 remote accessory (sold separately).

Installation & Mounting

Standard Hardware: Mounting hardware included for recessed T-grid ceiling installation.

Mounting Options: Recessed into standard 2×4 T-grid ceiling systems. Recommended ceiling height: 8–12 ft. SWISHAIR vented body serves as the return-air diffuser — coordinate with HVAC layout during installation. MVS sensor recommended mounting height: 9–12 ft.

Wiring: Separate 0–10V dimming circuit required. Wattage and CCT selections should be confirmed prior to installation.
