The RAB SUMO-S-5 is an integrated LED surface-mount fixture with a compact 5.5 in square design for new construction and retrofit spaces. Smooth white trim and a polycarbonate diffuser provide a clean ceiling appearance and evenly distributed light. Choose a warm or cool tone at installation using the five-position CCT switch, then adjust brightness with compatible dimming.

Construction & Design

The 5.5 in square form gives this compact fixture a defined architectural outline. A metal enclosure and smooth white finish coordinate with light-colored ceilings, while the polycarbonate diffuser spreads light evenly for general illumination. Fixture weight is 0.9 lb.

Light Output & Performance

Detailed CCT-specific output ranges from 653 to 709 lumens at 10W. Output is 653/676/699/709/700 lumens at 2700/3000/3500/4000/5000K, respectively. The 110-degree ±10-degree beam, 90 CRI and R9 at least 50 support broad illumination and clear color rendering. Integrated LEDs are rated for 50,000 hours at L70.

Electrical & Installation

Surface-mount installation on compatible junction boxes keeps the fixture close to the ceiling without a hanging pendant drop. The constant-current Class 2 driver operates on 120V at 60Hz. Use compatible TRIAC/ELV controls for dimming to 10%, and select the CCT at the fixture DIP switch during installation. The fixture is not IC rated and not airtight.

The individual sheet lists suitability for dry, damp and wet environments, closet-use compliance with NEC 410.16(A)(1) and 410.16(C)(1), California Title 24 Part 6 conformity capability, and TAA compliance with Cambodia as country of manufacture.
