The RAB SUMO-R-15K is a slim, edge-lit LED surface-mount downlight that pairs matte black smooth trim with evenly diffused illumination. Its 15 in diameter provides a clean ceiling presence, while 2,000 lumens from 28W deliver practical general lighting. Five selectable color temperatures and compatible TRIAC/ELV dimming let you set the light tone and brightness for your space.

The smooth matte black trim has a fade- and scratch-resistant finish. A steel heatsink supports thermal performance, while the UV-resistant polyester trim ring frames a frosted acrylic lightguide that spreads light evenly without hotspots. The fixture measures 15 in in diameter, with a 9/16 in panel thickness shown in the drawing, and weighs 2.6 lb.
Light Output & Performance
The integrated 28W LED delivers 2,000 lumens, with a listed 150W incandescent replacement equivalency. Choose 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K or 5000K to suit the room. Its 90 CRI and R9 greater than 50 support accurate color rendering. The rated 50,000-hour L70 lifespan avoids routine bulb replacement.
Electrical & Installation
The driver-on-board design avoids a separate rear driver enclosure and allows installation on most common junction boxes. The thin surface-mount panel keeps the visible fixture close to the ceiling without a pendant-style hanging drop. Connect to 120V at 60Hz; input current is 260mA. Compatible TRIAC/ELV dimmers adjust brightness down to 10%.
The fixture is UL listed for indoor or outdoor dry, damp and wet locations and is not IC rated or airtight. Select the desired color temperature using the fixture DIP switch during installation.
