The RAB GUS17-4/E is a commercial 4ft GUS17 LED Wrap engineered to deliver up to 5,873 lumens with field-adjustable 50W/40W/30W power settings and switchable 3500K/4000K/5000K color temperatures. Operating on 120–277V electrical systems with 0–10V continuous dimming down to 10%, this luminaire provides an energy-efficient replacement for legacy 3-lamp or 2-lamp F32T8 linear fluorescent fixtures. Built with a UL Listed damp location rating, it is qualified for commercial utility rebates under DLC 5.1 Listed standards and features a factory-installed emergency battery backup system for egress compliance and a durable color-coated steel housing with a polycarbonate wraparound lens.

Smart & Control Features

The GUS17-4/E includes factory-wired 0–10V dimming control leads for smooth continuous dimming down to 10% when connected to a separate 0–10V DC dimming circuit, commercial wall dimmer, or building automation system. Standalone Passive Infrared (/PIR), Microwave (/MVS), and Lightcloud Blue Bluetooth Mesh (/LCBS, /LCBS/MVS) sensor configurations, as well as field-installable PIR20 and MVS20 sensors and the MSR1 commissioning remote, are available — sold separately.

Electrical

Powered by a Class 2, Class P constant current driver operating on 120–277V AC at 50/60Hz. Delivers high electrical efficiency with a Power Factor of 99.56% at 120V (95.91% at 277V) and Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) of 6.6% at 120V (14.51% at 277V). Integrated 1 kV differential mode (DM, L/N) and 2 kV common mode (CM, L/N-PE) surge protection protects internal electronics against transient voltage spikes. Includes pre-wired 0–10V dimming leads.

Emergency Battery Backup: Includes a factory-installed emergency battery backup system for standby illumination during primary power outages. Battery Backup Light Loss Factor (LLF) for GUS17-4 is 0.19 at 50W (~1,116 emergency lumens), 0.24 at 40W (~1,170 emergency lumens), and 0.31 at 30W (~1,158 emergency lumens) based on 4000K nominal lumen ratings.
