The RAB GR3STL is a 3 in square trimless gimbal recessed downlight delivering up to 820 lumens at 9W with a 38° beam angle and 90 CRI. Field-selectable from 2700K to 5000K, the gimbal mechanism allows precise light aiming while the flangeless trimless design sits flush with the ceiling — no trim ring, no housing, no compromise on aesthetics. Ideal for accent lighting, wall washing, and general illumination in modern interiors.

The GR3STL dims down to 10% on compatible TRIAC and ELV dimming systems. CCT is field-adjustable via an integrated dip switch — select from 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, or 5000K at installation without changing the SKU. Compatible emergency driver: DRI-21-EMGR-DC-D10; emergency driver T20.

With efficacy up to 97 lm/W, a 90 CRI, R9 > 50, and a focused 38° beam angle, the GR3STL delivers precise, high-quality illumination. Color temperature is warranted to shift no more than 200K over five years. Rated lifespan: 50,000 hours L70 per IES LM-70.
Electrical & Installation
Operates on 120V with a Constant Current, Class 2 driver. Dimmable to 10% via TRIAC/ELV systems. The remote driver/junction box installs easily with quick snap-in connectors — no recessed housing needed. Suitable for new construction and retrofit. IC rated and airtight certified (ASTM E283). Operating temperature: -13°F to 104°F.
