The RAB FWAFER6B is a 6 in round fire-resistant edge-lit wafer downlight in white+red finish with a baffle trim, delivering up to 1,366 lumens at 15W with a focused 90° beam angle and 90 CRI. Tested and certified to UL 263 and ASTM E119 for 2-hour fire resistance, this fixture is engineered for fire-rated ceiling assemblies in both new construction and retrofit applications. The slim canless design mounts directly to the ceiling — no recessed housing required. CCT is field-selectable between five color temperatures via integrated dipswitch, with TRIAC/ELV dimming at 120V.

Construction & Design

The FWAFER6B features a metal enclosure with fire-resistant red coating and a baffle trim in white+red finish with a polycarbonate lens for smooth, even illumination. Spring-loaded retention clips accommodate ceiling thicknesses from 3/8 in to 5/8 in. A round cutout template (4-5/16 in) is included in the box. The fixture can be removed from below the ceiling for service or replacement. Weight: 1.4 lbs.
