The RAB CRX6 is a 6 in round commercial canless recessed downlight delivering up to 5,720 lumens at 50W with a wide 85° beam angle and 90 CRI. Part of the high-output, field-adjustable CRXLED family, the CRX6 features field-selectable wattage (30/40/50W) and CCT (2700K–5000K) via integrated dipswitches — eliminating the need to stock multiple SKUs. Universal 120-277V input and dual dimming compatibility (0-10V and TRIAC/ELV) make it ideal for commercial, hospitality, and high-ceiling applications requiring broad, powerful illumination.

Smart & Control Features
The CRX6 dims to 10% on compatible 0-10V dimming systems and on TRIAC/ELV dimming systems at 120V. Wattage and CCT are both field-adjustable via integrated dipswitches on the remote driver/junction box — select from 30W, 40W, or 50W and from 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, or 5000K at installation. Compatible emergency driver: DRI-21-EMGR-DC-D10; emergency driver T20.
Construction & Design
The CRX6 features a metal enclosure with a white smooth splay trim and flange and a deep-regress frosted polycarbonate lens for even light distribution and glare reduction. Color trim overlays in matte black, brushed nickel, and bronze are available separately for design flexibility. Weight: 2.1 lbs.
Light Output & Performance
With efficacy up to 118 lm/W (30W @ 4000K), a 90 CRI, R9 > 50, and a wide 85° beam angle, the CRX6 delivers broad, powerful commercial illumination suited for open-plan spaces, lobbies, and high-ceiling environments. Color temperature is warranted to shift no more than 200K over five years. Rated lifespan: 50,000 hours L70 per IES LM-70.
Electrical & Installation
Operates on 120-277V with a Constant Current, Class A driver. Dimmable to 10% via 0-10V or TRIAC/ELV systems. The remote driver/junction box installs easily with quick snap-in connectors — no recessed housing needed. Not IC rated — maintain clearance from insulation per NEMA LSD57-2013. Airtight certified (ASTM E283). Operating temperature: -4°F to 104°F.
