The RAB CRX family is a high-output, field-adjustable commercial canless recessed downlight available in 3 in, 4 in, 6 in, and 8 in aperture sizes. Each size features field-selectable wattage and CCT (2700K–5000K) via integrated dipswitches — eliminating the need to stock multiple SKUs. Universal 120-277V input, dual dimming compatibility (0-10V and TRIAC/ELV), and a wide 85° beam angle make the CRX family ideal for commercial, hospitality, and high-end residential applications of all scales. White smooth splay trim with flange included on all sizes; interchangeable matte black, brushed nickel, and bronze color trim overlays available separately for 4 in, 6 in, and 8 in.

Smart & Control Features
All CRX sizes dim to 10% on compatible 0-10V dimming systems and on TRIAC/ELV dimming systems at 120V. Both wattage and CCT are field-adjustable via integrated dipswitches on the remote driver/junction box at installation — no SKU change required. Compatible emergency driver: DRI-21-EMGR-DC-D10; emergency driver T20.
Construction & Design
Each CRX fixture features a metal enclosure with a white smooth splay trim and flange and a deep-regress frosted polycarbonate lens for even light distribution and glare reduction. The 4 in, 6 in, and 8 in sizes accept interchangeable color trim overlays in matte black, brushed nickel, and bronze (sold separately) for design flexibility.

Electrical & Installation
All sizes operate on 120-277V with a Constant Current, Class A driver. Dimmable to 10% via 0-10V or TRIAC/ELV systems. The remote driver/junction box installs easily with quick snap-in connectors — no recessed housing needed. Suitable for new construction, remodel, and retrofit. 3 in and 4 in are IC rated and airtight certified (ASTM E283). 6 in and 8 in are not IC rated — maintain clearance from insulation per NEMA LSD57-2013; airtight certified (ASTM E283). Operating temperature: -4°F to 104°F.

To be eligible for a return, please ensure the item is in its original condition (just as you received it), including all packaging, manuals, and accessories. While original shipping fees aren't refundable, we will cover the return shipping costs if the return is necessary because of our mistake (like sending the wrong item) or a product defect. Otherwise, the customer is responsible for return shipping expenses. Keep in mind that restocking fees might be applied if the returned item doesn't meet the required conditions.
