The RAB CR/E series combines high-performance open deep regressed recessed lighting with an integrated quick-connect emergency battery backup system. Available in four sizes — 4", 6", 8", and 10" — with selectable color temperatures from 2700K to 5000K, this series delivers 1000 to 4500 lumens at 11W to 38W, ensuring reliable illumination in both normal and emergency conditions.

Construction & Aesthetics
Each fixture is constructed from spun aluminum with a smooth splay reflector and a polycarbonate light diffuser for even, glare-controlled light distribution. The open, deep regressed trim design delivers a clean, architectural look. Optional color trim rings and goof rings are available for aesthetic customization.
Electrical & Installation
Designed for 120-277V systems with universal TRIAC/ELV and 0-10V dimming support, the CR/E series installs easily via stainless steel spring action clips in ceilings from 1/2" to 2" thick. The integrated quick-connect emergency battery backup activates automatically during power outages, providing a minimum of 90 minutes of emergency illumination with no additional wiring required.
Light Output & Performance
With efficacy up to 114 lm/W and a CRI of 90, the CR/E series delivers vibrant, accurate color rendering across all sizes. Each fixture is rated for a 50,000-hour LED lifespan.
