Description

Minka Aire DR500-LBR Downrod Coupler Legacy Brass

Extend a compatible ceiling fan's suspension beyond a single 72" downrod with the Minka Aire DR500-LBR Downrod Coupler. This Legacy Brass accessory joins compatible 0.75" Minka Aire DR5-series downrods for a maximum combined downrod length of 144". Its coordinated finish helps keep the connection visually consistent with your downrods and fan housing in tall-ceiling spaces.

Key Features

  • Model: DR500-LBR downrod coupler
  • Finish: Legacy Brass
  • Function: Joins compatible downrod sections for extended suspension
  • Compatibility: Minka Aire DR5-series 0.75" downrods only
  • Maximum Combined Length: 144" of downrod
  • Application: Installations requiring more than a single 72" downrod

Construction & Design

The DR500-LBR provides a cylindrical joining point between compatible downrod sections. The Legacy Brass finish coordinates with matching fan and downrod finishes, helping the extended suspension read as one consistent assembly.

Compatibility & Extension

Use this coupler with Minka Aire DR5-series 0.75" downrods. It enables combined downrod lengths up to 144"; this figure refers to the downrods, not the overall ceiling-to-fan dimension. Select the downrod combination appropriate for the fan and ceiling height.

Installation

Confirm the fan supports the intended downrod arrangement and follow the applicable fan, downrod and coupler installation instructions. Maintain the required floor-to-blade clearance and keep the total downrod length within the 144" maximum. The fan and downrods are sold separately.
