Installation & Operation
The Lutron MA-T51MN-WH installs easily in a standard single-gang wallbox and does not require a neutral wire, making it ideal for retrofit applications. The timer can be wired as a single-pole switch (one location) or as part of a multi-location system when used with companion switches. The tap switch provides simple operation—tap once to turn on the load, tap again to activate the countdown timer. Select your desired time interval (5, 10, 15, 20, 30, or 60 minutes) by tapping the switch multiple times. The LED countdown indicator glows to show the timer is active and gradually dims as time expires. When the countdown reaches zero, the load automatically turns off. Tap the switch at any time to cancel the timer or turn off the load immediately. The quiet electronic switching eliminates mechanical relay clicks for silent operation.
