Installation & Operation
The Lutron Maestro MA-T51MN-WH installs in a standard single-gang wallbox and requires a neutral wire connection. For multi-location control, use one timer with Maestro Companion switches (MA-AS, sold separately). After installation, operation is intuitive—tap once when unit is off to turn controlled load ON and begin countdown timer; when time expires, the load turns off automatically. Tap once when unit is on to turn controlled load OFF and reset countdown timer. Tap twice quickly to turn controlled load on without a time limit for continuous operation. Use the raise/lower touch rocker to adjust countdown time during operation. The orange LED indicators show countdown duration or remaining time, and the bottom LED blinks rapidly when 1 minute remains. The FASS (Front Accessible Service Switch) allows safe bulb replacement by pulling the tab out to change bulbs without turning off the circuit breaker.
