The receptacle accepts up to two 14 AWG to 10 AWG (1.5 mm² to 6.0 mm²) wires per terminal and supports solid or stranded copper wires only. Minimum wallbox dimensions are 3 inches (76 mm) H x 2 inches (51 mm) W x 2.5 inches (64 mm) D. Both USB Type C ports feature Power Delivery capability. When using a single port, it provides up to 55W (20V 2.75A, 15V 3A, 9V 3A, or 5V 3A). When both ports are in use simultaneously, the PD port provides up to 45W (20V 2.25A, 15V 3A, 9V 3A, or 5V 3A) and the convenience port provides 5V 1.5A. The tamper-resistant outlets comply with UL498 and provide enhanced safety for homes with children. Compatible with USB 1.1/2.0/3.0/USB PD 3.0 devices and battery charging specification BC1.2.
