• Class I, Division 2: Locations where flammable gases or vapors are handled, processed, or used, but are not normally present in ignitable concentrations — includes petrochemical plants, refineries, and fuel handling areas.
• Class II, Division 1: Locations where combustible dust is in the air in quantities sufficient to produce explosive or ignitable mixtures — includes grain elevators, flour mills, and coal handling facilities.
