The LEDVANCE Sylvania 62828 is a 2×2 recessed LED volumetric troffer from the Volume 6A Generation 6A series with integrated emergency battery backup (EMBB), designed for commercial and institutional grid ceiling applications where code-compliant emergency egress lighting is required. Wattage is field-selectable between 20W, 24W, 28W, and 32W, and color temperature is field-selectable between 3500K, 4000K, and 5000K — both adjustable without tools. At maximum output, the fixture delivers 4,000 lumens at 125 lm/W. The integrated EMBB provides 1,000 lumens for a minimum of 90 minutes during a power outage. It supports 0–10V dimming with 12V Aux output, operates on 120–347V, is cULus Listed (Damp Rated), DLC 5.1 Listed, and carries a 5-year warranty backed by the NLB Trusted Warranty Program.

Smart & Control Features

The 62828 supports 0–10V dimming with 12V Aux output and is compatible with the field-installable Sylvania PIR Motion/Daylight Sensor (62711, sold separately). Default sensor settings: Detection Area 100%, Hold Time 5 min, Daylight Threshold 50 Lux, Stand-by Period 30 min, Stand-by Dimming 30%. Adjustable via optional remote 65305.

Also compatible with LEDVANCE LINK™ Bluetooth mesh: install the LINK Controller (62631) or Powerpack (62632 + ceiling sensor 62633) inside the fixture driver box or ½″ knockout for smartphone app or wireless wall switch (62636) control.
