Give smaller rooms and low-clearance ceilings a clean, even wash of light with this 4 in. ultra-thin wafer downlight. Its canless design installs without a recessed housing, while switchable white light lets you choose the tone that fits the room.

Construction & Aesthetics

The polycarbonate injection-molded outer frame pairs with a steel backplate for a slim, lightweight fixture. A round smooth matte black trim and edge-lit light guide spread illumination evenly, and the nonconductive dead-front design suits applications requiring a nonconductive lens.

Light Output & Performance

The LED light engine delivers 670 nominal lumens at 3000K while using 9W and provides 90+ CRI. Select five CCT settings from warm 2700K to daylight 5000K; the default setting is 3000K. The LEDs are rated for 50,000 hours at 70% lumen maintenance and replace a 65W incandescent lamp.

Electrical & Installation

This downlight connects to dedicated 120V, 60Hz power and dims to 10% with compatible triac dimmers. The integrated Class 2 constant-current driver sits in an isolated steel remote-driver box with a 12 cubic-inch wiring compartment for up to six 14-gauge insulated conductors. A 3-pin FT4 plenum-rated cable connects the module to the driver; allow 3 in. of plenum space above the box. Use the supplied 4 in. template and keep the ceiling opening at or below 4.25 in. The fixture fits 3/8 in. to 1 1/2 in. ceilings, including insulated and drop ceilings, and can be removed from below for servicing or replacement.
