Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between TopFlex and SideFlex?

TopFlex bends vertically, while SideFlex bends horizontally. Both require a minimum bend radius of 2.5 inches. TopFlex measures 0.51 inches wide by 0.47 inches high; SideFlex measures 0.47 inches wide by 0.67 inches high. Choose the profile that matches the bend plane of your layout.

Can every NeoVision24 option be cut and rejoined?

No, cutting and joining rules differ by option. Single-color tape can be cut and joined in 2-inch increments. RGBW tape is cut-and-cap only in 2.5-inch increments, with power feeds at both ends allowing two cut runs per reel. Do not apply single-color joining methods to RGBW.

What power supply and controls are required?

Every option requires a compatible 24VDC power supply, with controls matched to the selected tape. Single-color models consume 3W per foot; RGBW models consume 4.3W per foot and need RGBW-compatible controls for color selection. Verify supply and controller compatibility for the chosen system rather than treating every configuration as interchangeable.

What reel lengths and maximum runs are available?

Single-color options come in 16 ft 4 in and 32 ft 8 in reels, with a maximum continuous run of 32 ft 8 in. The documented RGBW options come in 16 ft 4 in reels with the same 16 ft 4 in maximum run. Power-supply and controller load limits still apply independently of the tape’s maximum run.

What mounting hardware and accessories come with the reel?

Each reel includes mounting clips with screws, with 16 clips for a 16 ft 4 in reel or 32 for a 32 ft 8 in reel. Single-color reels include one power feed with a 48-inch lead and require separately sold end caps. RGBW reels include power feeds with 48-inch leads at both ends and an end cap. Use TopFlex-specific or SideFlex-specific channels and accessories as appropriate.
