The GM Lighting LD-XD-UNV40-12 is a 40W LED Driver delivering 12VDC Constant Voltage with Universal Dimming, Class 2 safety, and an Integrated Junction Box enclosure. This versatile power supply supports 120-277V input for commercial or residential use.

Physical Design & Installation
Constructed with a black powder-coated steel case, this driver includes an integrated junction box that meets NEC code requirements. The enclosure features separate compartments for line voltage and low voltage wiring, accommodating up to three 12 AWG conductors for simplified installation. The unit includes 12 in. leads for input, output, and dimming connections.
Dimming & Controls
The Multi-Dim LineDRIVE technology provides stable, flicker-free operation with a dimming range from 100% down to 1%. Phase dimming (TRIAC, ELV, MLV) is supported at 120VAC input, while low voltage dimming (0-10V, 10V PWM) is compatible with both 120VAC and 277VAC systems. A minimum load of 10% is recommended for most protocols to ensure smooth performance.
Performance & Build
This driver is engineered for longevity with an 85,000-hour life rating at 120VAC input and a 60 degree Celsius case temperature. It features comprehensive hiccup mode protection against over-voltage, over-current, and short circuits, along with over-temperature auto-recovery. The unit is UL listed for US and Canada and complies with FCC Part 15 Class B consumer limits.
