For maximum energy savings and site security, the fixture comes standard with an included 120-277V photocell that automatically turns the light on at dusk and off at dawn, eliminating the need for manual switches or external timers.

Construction & Durability

Engineered for harsh outdoor environments, the fixture features a durable die-cast aluminum housing finished in a standard dark bronze polyester powder-coat. The traditional dusk-to-dawn design has been modernized with softened edges for a versatile look that complements many applications. The housing is UL and cUL listed for wet locations, guaranteeing reliable operation in extreme ambient temperatures ranging from -40°C (-40°F) up to 40°C (104°F).

Installation & Mounting

The SDD series area light is designed for highly adaptable and straightforward site installation. The fixture can be mounted directly to a flat wall surface straight out of the box for perimeter security applications. For extended reach and traditional pole-mounted street or yard lighting configurations, the luminaire is fully compatible with an optional pole mounting arm kit (sold separately).
