It features a 31-speed DC motor and comes with a TR305 handheld remote control. The fan also has reversible airflow for multi-season use and can be controlled with the Fanimation Bluetooth fanSync app. Blades and an optional LED light kit are sold separately.

How many blades are best for a ceiling fan?

What is a "Hugger" or Low Profile fan?

A hugger fan is designed to be installed flush against the ceiling without a downrod. These should be used exclusively in rooms with a ceiling height of 8 feet or less to maximize headroom while maintaining safe clearance.

Can I put a regular ceiling fan outside?

No. You must use an outdoor-rated fixture. Use Damp Rated fans for covered areas like screened porches, and Wet Rated fans for exposed structures like pergolas where the fan will be in direct contact with rain or snow.

Can I use a dimmer switch with my ceiling fan?

Do not use a standard wall dimmer for the fan motor, as it can cause humming or permanent motor damage. You must use a specialized Fan Speed Control or the remote control specifically designed for that model.
