Fanimation Odyn Custom MAD8152 Ceiling Fan Motor with LED Light

Build a large-format fan around the Odyn Custom DC motor and light assembly. Choose compatible 56, 64 or 72 in blade sets, sold separately, to suit your space and finish palette. The DC135 motor delivers up to 9,193 CFM high airflow with 72 in blades. A selectable-CCT LED, TR305 remote and fanSync WiFi are included.

Smart & Control Features

The included TR305 remote provides 16 fan speeds, fresh air mode, on/off, CCT selection, fan and light timers, home away and safe exit. Built-in fanSync WiFi connects to the Fanimation fanSync app on iOS and Android without a separate hub. Optional TW306 two-wire fan-only wall control is sold separately.

Construction & Design

The motor assembly weighs 25.07 lb and uses a 6.46 in diameter canopy. Opal frosted glass and a steel cap are included. Select the motor finish independently from the blade set; blade finishes include Black, Brushed Nickel, Dark Walnut, Matte White and Weathered Wood.

Light Output & Performance

The included 18W LED delivers 1,600 lumens at CRI 90. Select 3000K, 4000K or 5000K through the remote. Airflow depends on the separately selected blade span: 7,587 CFM high at 56 in, 8,415 CFM high at 64 in and 9,193 CFM high at 72 in. The 72 in configuration has a separate Energy Guide average of 6,471 CFM at 326 CFM/W, distinct from its high-speed rating.

Electrical & Installation

Operates on 120V AC, 60Hz. Includes a 12 in wet-location downrod with 1 in diameter, DR1SS-12. Standard mounting supports ceilings sloped up to 27°. Sloped installations generally require a 24 in or longer downrod; slopes above 27° and up to 42° require the optional SCB1-52 slope ceiling ball kit. Optional CCK8002 close-to-ceiling kit is available separately. Use a securely anchored fan-rated junction box rated for at least 35 lb and accessories appropriate for the installation environment.

Suggested Downrod by Ceiling Height

A 12 in downrod is included. Longer wet-location downrods are sold separately. Final selection depends on the completed fan dimensions and mounting angle; maintain at least 7 ft from floor to blades.
