American Lighting TL4MM-COB — 24V DC 4mm COB LED Tape Light
The American Lighting TL4MM-COB is an ultra-narrow 4mm COB (Chip-on-Board) LED tape light engineered for installations where standard-width strips won't fit. At just 0.18" (4mm) wide and 0.07" (2mm) tall, it disappears into slim aluminum channels, micro-cove profiles, and tight millwork details — while still delivering the seamless, dotless illumination that COB technology is known for. A continuous phosphor coating over the full LED array eliminates visible hotspots and LED dot-glare for perfectly uniform output across every inch — no diffuser covers or accessories required.
Available in three color temperatures — 2700K Warm White (210 lm/ft), 3000K Soft White (230 lm/ft), and 4000K Cool White (240 lm/ft) — all at 2.43W/ft, 24V DC, 90+ CRI. IP54 Coated for indoor dry and damp locations, dimmable 5–100% with TRIAC/ELV dimmers, and closet-safe when installed in an enclosed mounting channel per NEC 410.16.

- Cuttable Every 1.97" (50mm), 16.4ft Max Run: 16.4ft reel with 6ft lead wire and 6ft tail wire. Cut at marked 50mm intervals. 3M VHB adhesive backing for tool-free mounting.

Power & Driver Sizing
The TL4MM-COB requires a 24V DC Class 2 LED driver (sold separately). At 2.43W/ft, use this formula to size your driver: run length (ft) × 2.43W/ft ÷ 0.80 = minimum driver wattage.
- 16.4ft reel: 16.4 × 2.43 ÷ 0.80 = 50W minimum — recommended ADPT-DRJ-60-24 (60W)
- Multi-zone: ADPT-DRJ-192-24 (192W, 2×96W) and ADPT-DRJ-288-24 (288W, 3×96W) for independently controlled zones
Dimming requires a TRIAC or ELV-compatible dimmer wired on the 24V DC output side — never on AC line input. Phase dimming compatible with most MLV, ELV, and TRIAC dimmers.
