Construction & Design
The injection-molded housing and aluminum backplate surround a white acrylic diffuser. The nominal 6 in option has an actual 5.375 in diameter; the other sizes measure 8 in and 12 in across. Every size projects 0.75 in, keeping a consistent low-profile appearance across a project.

Electrical & Installation
These D1 models operate on 120V AC with TRIAC or ELV dimming. Reviewed 6 and 8 in models dim to 10%; the 12 in sheet does not specify a dimming minimum. The separate D3 and D5 models' 1–10V specifications do not apply to these D1 options. The included snap-in bracket mounts to a standard junction box, sold separately, with all electrical connections inside the box. Indoor wall or ceiling mounting is supported; outdoor use is restricted to covered ceiling mounting only. The 0.75 in depth minimizes projection for low-clearance applications. Closet installations require the stated NEC 410.16 spacing. Reviewed 6 and 8 in sheets also list ENERGY STAR qualification.
Compatible Accessories
- EGRF-RET04 and EGRF-RET06: Sold-separately retrofit kits for 4 in and 6 in recessed ceiling cans
