Installation & Operation
The Lutron STCL-153M-WH installs easily in a standard single-gang wallbox and does not require a neutral wire, making it ideal for retrofit applications. The dimmer can be wired as a single-pole switch (one location) or as part of a multi-location system (up to 10 locations total) when used with ST-AS accessory switches. The touch paddle switch provides simple on/off control—lights go to full brightness or programmed preset level when turned on. Touch the light bar to set the lamps to desired level, slide to adjust the light level (will not turn lights off). Press and hold for more than 1 second for delayed long fade to off (30 second delay). The MyLevel Personalization feature allows you to customize your favorite light level and locator light brightness. The adjustable low-end and high-end trim ensures optimal dimming performance with your specific bulbs, eliminating flicker and extending bulb life. The FASS (Front Accessible Service Switch) allows safe bulb replacement by pulling the tab out to change the room's light bulb without turning off the circuit breaker.
