Cove Lighting

Cove lighting is a form of indirect lighting for decorative or aesthetic purposes. The light is directed up towards the ceiling from a cove to provide diffused illumination. Cove lighting can be installed in a ledge, recess or ceiling valance, or high on walls. The most common fixtures used as cove lights are LED light bars and LED light strips because of their linear shape and the diffused light they produce. Since cove lights typically run continuous throughout the ceiling, linear LED accent lights are ideal for their longer length and linkable features. LED cove lights are great for ambient lighting with warm white or cool white color temperatures and a shadowless glow. Use cove lights to complement soffit lights for a more defined lighting design.
