Really solid product

Bought this dimmer to use for a job. I liked it so much, I bought more to use in my home. Plus Column 1. You only need one unit (unlike other brands where you need to buy their modules for all the switches on a lighting loop). 2. Recessed wiring lugs makes it easy to get the device in the box. 3. Separate paddle switch and slide dimmer is easy to use, even for people with big fingers (like me). 4. Handles LED, compact fluorescent, halogen and incandescent (only one type of bulb per switch please) Minus Column 1. Price. You pay for the flexibility to use any type of bulb. If you know that you only use LED or CFL, there's a less expensive cousin. 2. Switch requires a neutral. You need to connect the neutral to the dimmer in order for it to work. If you're doing a retrofit, make sure you can get the neutral to the switch box.

Two switches didn’t work.

I don’t know why I had such bag luck with these products. Again has a licensed agent electrician install my switches and two didn’t work correctly. Had to go to HD and by different ones.
