The Kidde I12040A smoke alarm uses an ionization sensor to detect invisible fire particles associated with flaming fires. This hard wired smoke detector runs on 120V power and has a 9V battery backup for outages. The interconnected feature allows it to be connected with up to 24 Kidde devices around the home or office.

Nice people, cumbersome checkout

Good Customer service but poor policy requiring various ID and credit card to verify a purchase. Submitting those documents electronically and maintaining them by bees lighting create more risk to the consumer of ID theft, fraud, and unauthorized use.
