The westinghouse 7725100 is a 12 inch extension downrod 3/4 inch inside diameter. This 12-inch white finish extension downrod fits ceiling fans with 3/4 id downrods. Comes in white finish that will match your current ceiling fan. Increase the cooling advantages of your ceiling fan by setting it correctly. Most ceiling fan blades should be at least 7 feet from the floor, but no higher than 8 to 9 feet, for maximum performance and safety. An extension downrod lowers the ceiling fan to the right height above the floor for ceilings 9 feet and higher.
